Key Responsibilities:
- Security Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough security risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and address potential threats.
- Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including investigating security breaches, and providing timely resolutions to minimize impact.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor systems and networks for security breaches, using advanced tools and techniques to detect and prevent threats.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Training: Educate staff on security best practices and conduct training sessions to enhance awareness and adherence to security protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, management, and external partners to ensure comprehensive security strategies and implementations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, responses, and changes to security policies and systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the organization’s security posture.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software).
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security standards.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Knowledge of encryption, access control, and data protection methods.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues quickly and effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical users.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
